As of August 17, 2018, McAfee Institute has 11 courses that have been approved by the Missouri Department of Public Safety for use by the state’s licensed peace officers for continuing law enforcement education (CLEE) credit. The courses that have been approved are:
Social Media Intelligence Analyst (SMIA) (40 CLEE)
Certified Cyber Intelligence Investigator (CCII) (40 CLEE)
Certified Cyber Intelligence Professional (CCIP) (50 CLEE)
Certified Human Trafficking Investigator (CHTI) (31 CLEE)
Certified Expert in Cyber Investigations (CECI) (100 CLEE)
Certified Professional Criminal Investigator (CPCI) (100 CLEE)
Certified Counterintelligence Threat Analyst (CCTA) (40 CLEE)
Certified Social Medial Intelligence Expert (CSMIE) (200 CLEE)
Certified Organized Retail Crime Investigator (CORCI) (35 CLEE)
Certified Workplace Violence & Threat Specialist (WVTS) (50 CLEE)
Missouri peace officers are required 24 CLEE credits by an approved provider per year to maintain certification. Details on the Missouri CLEE requirements can be found here. In addition, Missouri peace officers who have completed the board certification process for any of the above courses should contact McAfee Institute at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a transcript of their credits so they may be applied toward their annual training requirement.
